Volunteering at Yorkshire Lavender
Do you have some time to spare and want to contribute to the running of an iconic and much-loved Yorkshire attraction?
Every year, many people join us to help take care of our beautiful gardens whilst making new friends, learning new skills and knowledge and sharing a love of horticulture.
During each season, along with general gardening duties to help maintain our award-winning gardens, our volunteers also assist guests with gardening enquiries, mostly about lavender! Volunteers also help out the shop team during busy periods, greeting guests and helping with seasonal events.
We also hugely appreciate volunteers when it comes to harvesting our lavender at the end of the season. This usually falls at the end of August and takes a couple of days. Food and drinks are provided and there's a wonderful team-working spirit and lots of laughs to be had!
