Love is in the air and we've had the absolute pleasure of showing some fabulous couples around over the past few weeks as they look at options for their big day.
It got us thinking about wedding planning and some of the most common questions we get asked about celebrating your special day at Yorkshire Lavender.
Can you get married at Yorkshire Lavender?
While we don't have the license for a legal marriage ceremony, you can absolutely have your celebration here.
Can I hire the space for the evening only?
You can. Through the summer months, the longer days, warmer weather and stunning scenery make the lavender fields an idyllic setting for your celebration. We can offer the site most cost-effectively after 5pm until 12am or, if you need longer, from 3pm with an additional site closure fee.
Is there accommodation available?
Unfortunately, it's not possible to stay on site at Yorkshire Lavender but we're fortunate to be situated near to plenty of options, from hotels to camping and caravan sites.
Can I buy Yorkshire Lavender for wedding favours?
Absolutely! We can provide a range of options, from gorgeous lavender-filled organza bags to lavender oil gifts. Or we can supply you with loose lavender to craft your own favours.
What's included in a wedding package?
Our wedding packages include giant tipis, tables, benches or chairs, a dance floor, fairy lights, generator, walk way, toilet facilities, exclusive hire of the grounds, and delivery and collection of furniture. There are different options available to suit your needs and we are very happy to discuss your individual requests and suggestions.
Can we have engagement / wedding photography at Yorkshire Lavender?
Yes! Our location truly makes for a stunning backdrop to capture those special memories and we'd be honoured to be part of making memories to last a lifetime.
