Are Dogs Allowed?

Unfortunately we only allow guide/aiding dogs into Yorkshire Lavender.

Are you wheelchair friendly?

We have disabled parking at the front of the car park, it is flat with no steps to negotiate through to the shop, disabled toilets and tea room.  All doors are wide enough to permit wheelchair access.

There is a paved path down to the plant nursery beyond that it is grass.

When is the best time to visit?

The best time to visit is June,July & August to see the lavender in full bloom.

Yes we are. 10am – 5pm

We are situated just outside of Terrington, which is 3 miles west of Castle Howard. 14 miles north of York. Our post code for the sat nav is YO60 6PB

When do you shut?

Can we have a picnic?

Sorry we do not allow picnics at Yorkshire Lavender

When is the lavender in bloom?

The lavender starts flowering at the end of May and the last flowers are cut at the end of August.

Yes we are 3 miles west of Castle Howard

Is there anything for children?

Yes! Lots! We have a brand new play area, deer park, lavender maze, sculptures, hillside snakes & ladders, plenty of land for them to run around on and much more!
